New England Cider Company
New England Cider Company was founded by Miguel Galarraga and Seth Hart in 2013. Sparked by their interest in craft beers and home brewing came the idea of making cider, a drink they both enjoyed making, drinking and sharing. Miguel and Seth started making cider in 2009 in their own backyard with a homemade press and chopper. As their cider making hobby grew, so did their enthusiasm and passion, leading to more ingredients, experiments and encouragement from family and friends to share their special elixir with a wider audience.
Spoke + Spy Ciderworks
A love of travel and cider cultures of the world brought Ronald and Kimberly Sansone to realize that Connecticut needed a unique, nano-cidery producing ciders inspired by the cider cultures of the world they had experienced. Their tasting room opened in March of 2018 and continues to explore cider flavor and unique variety while embracing traditional cidermaking methodology.

East Haddam, CT
Staehly Tree Farm was started in 1985 as a choose and cut Christmas tree farm in East Haddam. The farm was originally owned by the Diamond Family and dates back to the 1700s.
The farm has grown and expanded since then with the addition of a 20-acre parcel in 2016 (Protz Family Farm) that has been planted as a pick your own orchard. Our original orchards date back to the 1950s when Emil Staehly came to East Haddam from Colchester. A long-time sweet cider producer, his knowledge was passed to his son and grandson who both started Staehly Farm Winery
